Resolved Question: plz plz help me my jack russell has changed all of a sudden can you help?
Monday, March 30th, 2009
ok so my parson JRT has become so nervous all of a sudden, she is nearly 2 years old and has always been a cuddly dog, she loves attention. she is walked twice a day and we took her to the vets and she is very healthy according to the them.
i have never had any problems with her, she loved to go for walks and she loved to lay on the sofa with me while i watched tv. she was very playful and she loved everyone who came to the house even strangers. she is usually obiedient and was trained from the day we got her at 8 weeks, she was introduced to things straight away (hoovers, children at the school, people, cars, dogs, cats ect) she loved everything an anyone.
all of a sudden she barks at people that come visit and just growls and cowers (even people she knows).
she is fine with the kids as i have 2 and she is fine with my other JRT. she is also scared of the tv, she continuously jumps and barks and cowers in the corner.
she has never been like this before its only over the last couple of weeks, but she is getting worse, its getting hard to take her out for her walks as she cowers at gates, rubbish bags, children, people, cars, carrier bags ect. she was very obedient on walks and would walk by my side and now she throws herself around and tries to pull home.
i want my cuddly easy going, obedient and bubbly, playful girl back.
nothing has changed in our routine. we love her dearly she is my best friend and i dont like seeing her like this.
plz can i have any advice?
as i have said i took her to the vet and they couldnt find anything wrong, they said she was extremely healthy
thank you all so much for your advice xx
i cant think of anything that would change her so quick, i can train dogs, am quite educated when it comes to dogs, but i guessbecause she is my own it is different, iv always taken her every where with me and she has always been well behaved.
i never ever leave her alone with the kids i would not leave any dog alone with any child,so it isnt the kids.
