Years have passed since this story was last told, and many more will go by before people realize the extent of it. But either way my life should be remembered even by those who don’t want to listen. For this is the story of how I lived, and how I died. The lights of London, once glowing remained dim tonight. Every shutter was shut and every door locked. Not a sound echoed across the cobblestone streets of London tonight for fear they might miss what little warning they may have. For tonight was the night that he came. Tonight Captain Tory would come. Nobody slept on this night for fear of what was to come. And hiding behind shut windows and locked doors did little to ease that fear.
